But on the flip side, doesn’t this discourage boys from going into those fields and make them feel inferior to girls when they obviously aren’t?
How is encouraging one sex over another fair?
How is actively misleading a group of people about their talents anything but discrimination?
What I’d like to see in this post is how many of those math teachers who did this were female. If it is a large majority, aren’t they simply sexist for discriminating against boys?

most teachers are female, and they do mark down boys simply for not being girls.
