If there’s one thing that the latest episode of Tropes vs. Women taught me, it’s that Anita really lacks any ability to understand satire, context or messages in media that aren’t explicitly articulated within the first two seconds.
As was explained by a former friend of mine, who was a radfem blogger and is an Anita fangirl, the point of the the Femme Fatal episode of PowerPuff Girls is to illustrate what femenism should NOT be.  It’s not a deliberate characterization of all femenists, or an attempt to strawman any serious arguments, it’s a quirky comedic tale that advises it’s audience to identify and ignore extremists.  The episode actually has two of it’s adult female characters explain to the PPG the importance of equality and addressing social issues, but that they shouldn’t get caught up in the antics of counter-productive, petty bigots in their attempts to do so.
This former friend of mine was arguably worse than Anita BTW.  She believed in Rape Culture, Patriacrhy and that human behavior has no biological roots.  That’s right, she was a full-blown Social Constructivist.  She even wrote for Jezebel at one point.  Despite all this, even she was able to recognize the intended pro-femenist angle of the episode.  As she explained to me, it would be like if a TV show had a Phil Robertson-esque caricature running around spouting bigotied fundimentalist Christian nonsense, and then two characters who were potrayed as level headed and objectively correct appeared at the end to repudiate what he said and explain that’s not what Christianity is about, and that Robertson isn’t a real Christian yadda yadda.  In the same way that that hypothetical episode wouldn’t be anti-Christian, neither was the PPG ep anti-femenist, she explained.
However, what if Anita doesn’t lack the abilities mentioned at the top of the post?  Maybe she sees too much of herself in the extreme caricature of Femme Fatal, as both are insane cunts who flip their shit over essentially nothing, and doesn’t like the show’s message to ignore her/them. Either way, doesn’t matter, she’s fucking retarded and once again completely in the wrong.
P.S. Fuck Femenism.
